Valence — ADCIRC mesh registry

Install the package

The base package installs the registry manifest (bundled, ~50 KB) and query API with no mesh downloads:

pip install valence-domains

Query the registry

Here's a complete Python snippet to discover domains and load a mesh:

Load mesh bytes

Real mesh bytes require an extra

To download and work with actual mesh data, install the [hf] extra and use Mesh.load(). This fetches mesh files on demand from the HuggingFace mirror (domattioli/Valence) and caches them locally:

pip install 'valence-domains[hf]'
