Registry queries, mesh loading, proposals, and deterministic package contracts.

The valence-domains package exposes registry queries, mesh metadata, deterministic identity helpers, proposal contracts, and validation utilities.

Install

Install the base package:

pip install valence-domains

To load mesh bytes from the HuggingFace dataset, install with the [hf] extra:

pip install 'valence-domains[hf]'

The [hf] extra enables Mesh.load() to download mesh bytes from the HuggingFace dataset.

Common imports

from valence_domains import find_domains, find_meshes, get_mesh, test_meshes

test_meshes returns Mesh instances marked for testing (test_case=True), useful for wiring test fixtures into downstream libraries.

Typical flow

  1. Find domains or meshes from the bundled manifest.
  2. Resolve a mesh by composite id such as `WNAT/hagen@v1`.
  3. Load mesh bytes on demand when the [hf] extra is installed.
  4. Use proposal and scope APIs for deterministic review workflows.
